First of all I have to thank all of my prayer warriors for lifting my Mom in prayers. There is one thing that I know for sure is that our Lord is GOOD, WONDERFUL, MAGNIFICENT, OK I'm not a writer or do I claim to be one but I think you get the drift. The only thing that we didn't know is when she got out of surgery that the DR. forgot or he didn't brother to tell us is that it is a so and long healing process. Ok, how long? About a year before she can see to her fullest. What, yes you heard right. It could take up to a year for it to heal all of the way. The good news is that she will be able to see, the bad news is that she think she is blind, and she is for right now. Does she think that she will see? NO. I just had to come home because their is only so much one can take. The first words out of her mouth was, "I just knew that if the surgery didn't go right I was prepared to not see or drive." OMG, I just had to ask her if she could hear me, and you know what she said, "will my ear is a little plugged".
My Hubie and I were planning on going out this weekend to go camping and that is still on by the way. I had told her this morning that I have to go home to take the truck home so we could get out rig out of storage and put at the campground to get set up for next weekend... So, she went in the bathroom and had to take off her patch and put the eye drops in and guess what? She can't see to do that! What, all I could think of was no I know that you can do this. So we worked on it and she was able to put the eye drops in.
I'm home going to get ready for tomorrow to go camping and then, get ready for the big weekend. Say, Our boys and their family's will be joining us and that is a first for a very long time. So, thank you my prayer warriors your the best, and may you be blessed in many ways. I thank the Lord everyday that I meet you and that you meet me. God Bless everyone!
